Snapshot of the Week: Top Moments from New Zealand

This week, I thought I’d highlight some of my favorite moments from when I was in New Zealand. Looking back, I sure did cram a lot of uber-adventurous activities within the month I was there.

Kayaking around Cathedral Cove on the North Island

The aforementioned kayak

A tipsy game of Mushroom in Raglan leads to a spectacular photo

Whitewater rafting down a waterfall in Rotorua… backwards

Me and my little pink plane…

That I jumped out of …

And lived to tell the tale!

At the start of the Tongariro Crossing

Midway through… yes, that’s steam rising from the dirt. Lots of geothermal activity on this hike.

The Tongariro Crossing was scary…

…but I had a good friend to hike with!

The same week. I hiked the Milford Trek. All 33.5 miles of it!

I ended my trip with a glacier hike in Franz Josef. Beautiful, but… cold!
